First Friday

TGIF as they say. It's the first Friday of August....can you believe it is August already! A lot of young people are already getting ready to go back to school. I remember those days as a teacher as well. You think kids are nervous before the first day???? Anyway, I am glad for a weekend off and look forward to hanging out with friends. Tomorrow is the Feast of our founder St. Dominic a cool guy for sure. He loved hanging out and chatting about the Lord....and he loved a good celebration! That is one Dominican tradition that has survived the centuries!
